Residents of the Hamlet of DeBolt in north-western Alberta’s Peace Country now have access to a new community centre.
The DeBolt and District Agricultural Society created the community centre by modifying and expanding their existing curling rink.
With amenities that include a fitness centre, indoor playground, kitchen, meeting rooms and offices, the new facility has increased the recreational and social opportunities available to the people of DeBolt and its surrounding communities.
The community centre will also help to strengthen the local economy by attracting more visitors to the region.
